Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and care team members to develop and update care plans
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents and their families

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN or RN license in the state of Maine or compact state if applicable
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus but not required
• Must provide state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
• Completion of COVID-19 vaccine or documented religious/medical exemption as required by facility policy

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Compassionate, patient-first approach to care
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) documentation
