Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct nursing care to residents in a supportive environment
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring accuracy and safety
• Assess and monitor resident conditions, promptly reporting changes to the care team
• Document care provided in a thorough, timely manner
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care
• Educate residents and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-care instructions

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine
• Must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine, or present a documented religious and/or medical exemption
• Must bring a state or federal issued photo ID and wear it at all times
• Ability to work a 12.5-hour shift with a 30-minute meal break
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate, professional, and reliable

• Medication administration and accurate documentation
• Patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, and early detection of changes
• Care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Effective communication with residents, families, and the care team
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Empathy, patience, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
