Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in line with care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor residents, document changes in condition, and report concerns
Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated care
Maintain accurate clinical records and follow facility policies and procedures
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — active license required
Comfortable administering medications and providing direct resident care
Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
Basic life support/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Previous experience in long-term care or a similar setting is a plus

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and vital sign assessment
Skilled at documenting care and recognizing changes in resident status
Knowledge of infection control practices and safety procedures
Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Good time management and prioritization in a busy care environment
