Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care that truly makes a difference
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, reporting changes to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and families to create personalized care plans
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and aftercare

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented religious/medical exemption
• Prior LPN experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a big plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to a fast-paced setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and dosage calculations
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy
• Teamwork and collaboration in a multidisciplinary environment
• Compassionate, empathetic approach to resident care
