Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, 8-hour shifts; exact start and end times vary based on facility needs
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and physicians
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, documenting patient responses accurately
- Monitor and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the care team
- Assist patients with daily living activities while promoting independence and dignity
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and update individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and post-discharge care
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Current BLS/CPR certification, or ability to obtain before starting
- Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- New graduates welcome; previous LPN experience is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and accurate dosage calculations
- Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
- Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
- Empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of infection control and safety protocols
