Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an acute rehabilitation setting
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license in the state of Texas
• BLS certification
• Experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or hospital setting preferred
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts including weekends and holidays
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of acute care nursing practices and procedures
• Medication administration and IV therapy skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Ability to respond quickly to changing patient needs
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
