Licensed Practical Nurse
Location: Lancaster, PA
Start Date: 04-27-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 8-hour shift; specific start/end times and days to be determined by facility. Role indicates 8-hour LPN shifts, typically day shift as scheduled.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and monitor patient status
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered and document accurately
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to develop and follow care plans
- Perform assessments, record vital signs, and report changes promptly
- Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and dignity
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
- Support a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active LPN license or practical nurse certification required (must be eligible to work in PA)
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented attitude
- Prior LPN experience preferred but new grads with clinical experience are welcome to apply
Education
- LPN certificate or diploma from an accredited nursing program
- High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and medication administration
- Comfortable with basic charting and electronic health record documentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care setting
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Good patient communication and family education skills
