Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care with clinical accuracy and attention
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document appropriately
- Monitor patient status, report changes, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe outcomes
- Assist with daily living activities while promoting patient dignity and comfort
- Maintain clear, timely charting and communicate effectively with patients and families
- Support unit efficiency by participating in handoffs, safety checks, and team huddles
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (or ability to obtain) — ready to practice with confidence
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required or obtain upon hire
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Previous clinical experience preferred but new grads with solid training are welcome to apply
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (or equivalent)
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamental nursing assessment and documentation skills
- Medication administration and familiarity with common nursing procedures
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay calm under pressure
- Compassionate patient interaction and strong interpersonal skills
- Basic charting skills and comfort with electronic health records
