Location: Christiana, Pennsylvania

Start Date: 04-27-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8.5-hour shift (day shift), exact start/end times and specific days to be scheduled with facility

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care following the plan of care
Administer medications, document accurately, and monitor patient responses
Collaborate with RNs, CNAs and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
Perform routine assessments, record findings, and escalate changes promptly
Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
Maintain accurate, timely charting and handoffs to ensure safe transitions

Qualifications

Current LPN license in Pennsylvania (or compact/reciprocal license where applicable)
Completed LPN program or equivalent vocational nursing training
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or willingness to obtain)
Current immunizations and successful background/drug screening as required by facility
Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred

Education

LPN diploma or vocational nursing certificate; High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
Excellent documentation and charting practices
Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary care team
Good communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
