Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures including angiograms, biopsies, and neuro interventions
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients throughout procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Provide compassionate care to patients undergoing minimally invasive treatments

Qualifications

• Active RN license required at submission
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procedural departments, critical care, ER, or ICU
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with moderate sedation
• Lives within 30-minute radius of Portsmouth Regional Hospital

Knowledge & Skills

• Procedural nursing and critical care skills
• Moderate sedation administration
• Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with Philips imaging equipment and Expanse EMR
