Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in vascular and neuro interventional radiology procedures, helping patients through routine and complex cases.
• Prepare patients and equipment for interventional cases, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Operate imaging systems and document procedures accurately in EPIC, Synapse, and Startrack (training available if needed).
• Maintain a sterile field and manage supplies, contrast media, and catheters during procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to deliver seamless, patient-centered care.
• Participate in the on-call rotation, providing emergency interventional coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification is required.
• Proven experience in both vascular and neuro interventional radiology cases is required — neuro experience is essential.
• Ability to participate in a rotating call schedule, including every other weekend and holiday coverage.
• State licensure/certification as a radiologic technologist with verification (license/certificate verification required).
• Willingness to complete Trinity Health onboarding requirements, including drug screen, fit test, and immunizations.

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of interventional radiology procedures and imaging techniques.
• Hands-on experience with vascular and neuro interventional cases.
• Familiarity with EPIC, Synapse, and Startrack is helpful, but training is available.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills to keep patients at ease during procedures.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to sterile technique.
