Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during complex electrophysiology procedures including ablations, device implantations, Watchman procedures, and loop recorder placements
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and cardiac rhythms throughout EP procedures while maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
• Operate advanced EP equipment such as Carto, Cryo, ESI, and X-ray/PACS imaging systems
• Prepare and maintain the EP lab with sterile supplies, equipment, and medications in a fast-paced environment
• Document procedural data accurately in Cerner EMR and collaborate closely with the care team
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures with precise attention to detail

Qualifications

• Active ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an EP lab or invasive cardiac setting
• Strong proficiency with EP procedures: ablation, device implantation, Watchman, loop recorders
• RCES, RCIS, or RT(R) credential preferred
• Flexibility, efficiency, and exceptional attention to detail

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of electrophysiology procedures and arrhythmia management
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Proficiency with X-ray/PACS, Cardio Lab, iSTAT, and ESI systems
• Familiarity with Carto, Cryo, and 3D mapping technology
• Understanding of sterile technique and EP lab equipment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-acuity procedural unit
