Shift Type: Monday-Friday, variable hours, Full Time - Day Shift

Hours per Week: 40

Bill Rate: $42.00 - $65.00/hour or $90,000 - $135,000/year

Benefits

Hourly Range: $42.00 - $65.00 / $90,000 - $ 135,000 (based on education and experience)
Relocation Allowance: Up to $5,000
Permanent Placement Fee: 18%
Admin fee 15% running through calendar year 2025

Roles & Responsibilities

Provides leadership, direction, and administration of all aspects of the health information management Department
Responsible for record processing and completion, transmission, indexing, abstracting, timeliness and accuracy of acute and ambulatory coding
Maintains active communication with health center leadership and staff
Represents the health center in all activities related to areas of responsibility

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Science or related field
Five years management/supervisory experience
Five years medical coding experience
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) preferred

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Science or related field
