Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies using established protocols to support accurate diagnoses
• Position and prepare patients with empathy and clear communication to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Operate and maintain CT scanners and related equipment, following manufacturer and safety guidelines
• Monitor image quality and promptly notify radiologists of any urgent findings
• Accurately document procedures, patient information and imaging results in the electronic medical record
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and participate in quality assurance processes

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience as indicated in the job posting
• Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography or registry-eligible with plan to certify
• Valid state radiologic technologist licensure or ability to obtain Florida licensure
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong patient care skills and the ability to work 12+ hour day shifts
• Comfortable working as a travel technologist and adapting to new team and site workflows

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CT scanner operation and cross-sectional imaging protocols
• Understanding of radiation safety principles and ALARA practices
• Skill in patient positioning, IV contrast administration awareness and monitoring
• Familiarity with PACS, DICOM workflows and common radiology information systems
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with radiologists, nurses and support staff
