Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies across a range of exams, delivering clear diagnostic images to support patient care
• Start IVs and administer contrast safely and according to protocol, monitoring patients for reactions
• Operate and troubleshoot CT scanners (GE and Siemens) and manage studies in PACS (Fuji Synapse) and Epic
• Manage a high throughput environment (averaging ~25 scans/day) while maintaining attention to detail and patient comfort
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and the care team to ensure timely, accurate reporting and smooth workflow
• Adhere to radiation safety, departmental protocols, and infection control standards at all times
• Float to outpatient areas as needed and adapt to department needs across a 5-scanner CT suite

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required (Certified CT Technologist)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum ~2 years of CT technologist experience preferred
• Comfortable with IV insertion and contrast administration
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT systems preferred
• Familiarity with Epic and Fuji Synapse PACS strongly preferred
• Ability to submit driver's license (60-mile radius requirement) and travel for orientation
• Willingness to work weekend and holiday coverage as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT protocols, cross-sectional anatomy, and radiation safety
• Proficient with PACS workflows (Fuji Synapse) and Epic charting
• Skilled in patient positioning, contrast administration, and IV starts
• Excellent communication and patient care skills, including working with diverse populations and trauma cases
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to float to outpatient areas
