Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to acquire high-quality diagnostic images with care and precision
• Position and prepare patients for CT procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support diagnostic workflows and timely reporting
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain strict compliance with imaging standards
• Manage imaging documentation, PACS uploads, and electronic health record entries accurately
• Provide compassionate patient education and clear communication before, during, and after exams

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience (as listed in the job posting)
• ARRT (R) certification; CT registry preferred or eligibility to obtain
• Current state licensure or certification required to practice as a radiologic/CT technologist (Florida licensure expected for this site)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiography, or related field
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program and ARRT credentialing pathway

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency operating multidetector CT scanners and routine CT protocols
• Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging principles
• Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Experience with PACS, DICOM workflows, and electronic health records
• Excellent patient positioning, IV contrast administration familiarity, and emergency response awareness
• Good communication skills for patient interaction and team coordination
