Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct, compassionate patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility in a dignified manner
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices to prevent falls and injuries
Maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and properly handle supplies
Document care interventions and observations clearly and on time
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (eligible to practice in Pennsylvania) — required
Comfortable working an 8-hour shift and providing hands-on patient care
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
CPR/BLS certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility health requirements as needed

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and safe transfer techniques
Assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition
Infection control and proper hygiene practices
Accurate documentation and time-management skills
Teamwork and clear communication with clinical staff
