CNA - Long Term Care
Location: Wausau, Wisconsin
Start Date: 08-11-2026
End Date: 11-07-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Evening shift, primarily 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, every other weekend and holiday required
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and feeding support to residents
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using mechanical lifts
- Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs
- Document care accurately in electronic medical records
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment
- Support residents during mealtimes and document intake
- Participate in care conferences and communicate with the care team
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry
- At least 2 years of experience as a CNA
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and support residents safely
- Comfortable using electronic medical records and basic computer skills
