Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers and mobility to promote independence and prevent falls
Document care and observations clearly and promptly in resident charts
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists and family members to coordinate care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control policies

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification required
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or able to obtain
Able to pass background check and required health screenings (TB, immunizations)
Strong attention to detail, compassion, and excellent communication skills
Reliable attendance and ability to work collaboratively as part of a care team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed accredited CNA program and current state CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and ADLs
Comfortable taking and recording vitals accurately
Knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
Good charting and documentation habits
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
Time-management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
