Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Assist with safe transfers, mobility support, and personal hygiene needs
- Monitor and document resident conditions, reporting changes to nursing staff
- Support mealtime assistance and dietary needs as directed
- Work closely with the care team to ensure each resident’s care plan is followed
- Promote a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (state-required credential) in good standing
- Demonstrated ability to provide hands-on personal care with dignity and respect
- Comfortable working as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background checks, and health screenings
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and ADLs
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Infection control and basic safety practices
- Ability to follow care plans and directions from licensed staff
- Compassionate bedside manner and resident-centered approach
