Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver personalized care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in West Virginia
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care procedures and safety protocols
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs
• Empathy and patience when working with elderly residents
• Time management and prioritization skills
