Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding) to preserve dignity and comfort
Take and accurately record vital signs and promptly report changes to nursing staff
Observe and document skin integrity, perform turning and repositioning, and help prevent pressure injuries
Safely transfer residents to and from beds, chairs, or wheelchairs while following facility protocols
Respond to resident calls in a timely, compassionate manner and communicate observations to caregivers and providers
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of resident care areas by changing sheets and restocking supplies

Qualifications

Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license (required)
Current CPR certification (required)
Demonstrated ability to communicate in English: reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension
Comfortable working under pressure and collaborating with residents, families, and long-term care staff
Experience with ADLs, resident transfers, turning/repositioning, and skin integrity observation preferred

Education

Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
Current CPR certification

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) skills

Vital signs measurement and documentation
Patient transfer and safe lifting techniques
Turning and repositioning
Skin integrity assessment and pressure injury prevention
Resident care and bedside manner

Clear English communication (reading, writing, speaking)

Progressive pay scale with 30 pay increments to recognize up to 30 years of relevant experience
