Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health and well-being to the nursing team
• Encourage independence and dignity by assisting residents with daily activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current state or federally issued identification (required at the facility)
• Ability to wear a photo badge at all times while on duty
• Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to providing quality care
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus, but new CNAs are welcome

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of resident care fundamentals and safety protocols
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with nurses and residents
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in changing situations
• Empathy, patience, and a positive, encouraging attitude
• Basic documentation and computer skills
