Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Monitor and assess patient status, recognizing and responding to changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate and support families during challenging times
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered RN license in Ohio
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• PICU or pediatric critical care experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric assessment and critical care knowledge
• Comfort with ventilators, IV pumps, and cardiac monitoring
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate and calm approach in stressful situations
