Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to acute care patients, assisting with daily activities and mobility
• Monitor and document vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
• Support patients with personal hygiene, meals, and comfort needs
• Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healing environment for patients and families

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Virginia
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification strongly preferred
• Prior experience in an acute care or hospital setting is a plus
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical observation and documentation skills
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and the care team
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
• Physical stamina to support 12.5-hour shifts
• Collaborative teamwork and a positive attitude
