Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to patients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Assist with meal times, feeding, and recording food and fluid intake
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and report any changes in patient condition
• Support patients' emotional and physical well-being with kindness and respect

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Prior experience in long-term care, hospital, or similar setting preferred but not required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care principles and safety protocols
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Understanding of infection control and hygiene standards
• Ability to follow care plans and document patient information
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and staff
• Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
