Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate daily care to patients, helping them feel comfortable and respected
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to maintain patient safety and dignity
• Observe and promptly report any changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Support patients with meals, hydration, and personal hygiene needs
• Keep patient areas organized, clean, and well-stocked
• Partner with nurses and other caregivers to provide the best possible care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is a plus
• Must be able to provide state or federal issued identification
• Must wear a photo badge at all times while on duty

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of patient care fundamentals
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to stay calm and compassionate in fast-paced situations
• Basic computer skills for charting and documentation
• Sharp attention to detail and observation skills
