Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain before start)
• Previous long-term care or hospital experience preferred, but new grads are welcome
• Physical ability to lift, transfer, and support patients as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to quality patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and infection prevention standards
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and families
