Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents in a warm and supportive environment
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs, and promptly report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team to ensure continuity
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Support residents' emotional well-being and encourage independence whenever possible
• Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• A genuine passion for helping others and providing dignified care
• Ability to work flexible per-diem shifts, including evenings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus, but not always required
• Must follow all safety and infection control protocols

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of resident care fundamentals and safety standards
• Excellent observation and reporting skills
• Ability to adapt to changing resident needs and priorities
• Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude
• Working knowledge of basic medical terminology and vital sign measurement
