Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts), with rotating call

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring during cardiac and vascular procedures
Assist with conscious and moderate sedation, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Manage cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors with precision
Operate balloon pumps and provide airway management during critical cases
Support a high-volume lab performing 10-22 cases per day across 5 specialized suites
Collaborate with a skilled team including RNs, lead techs, and interventionalists

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification required—RCIS or CCT will not be accepted
Active BLS certification from AHA
Fluoroscopy license required
Minimum current cath lab experience essential—first-time travelers welcome!
Comfortable with conscious sedation, procedural processes, and cardiac drips
Experience with STEMI, vascular, peripheral, IR, and neuro interventions preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner charting system
Expertise in cardiac, coronary, vascular, peripheral, IR, and neuro interventions
Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and balloon pump management
Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate in a fast-paced environment
Ability to adapt to varying shift lengths and on-call schedules
