Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population in our fast-paced ER
Assess, triage, and treat patients with a wide range of conditions from cardiac and stroke to trauma and mental health
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, mid-levels, techs, and nurses
Manage emergency holds and inpatient boarding with support from inpatient staff
Utilize EPIC for charting and participate in patient monitoring and telemetry
Respond quickly to life-threatening situations and prioritize care based on acuity

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact state
At least 2 years of recent emergency room experience in a larger trauma setting
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and either PALS or ENPC
Experience with EPIC charting system
Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a high-volume environment

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent assessment and critical thinking abilities
Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Knowledge of emergency procedures, trauma protocols, and sepsis management
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team
Strong communication and patient education skills
