Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to acutely ill adults and surgical patients in a fast-paced med surg/telemetry unit
Monitor telemetry for patients requiring stable cardiac monitoring, ensuring timely interventions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Administer medications, manage pain, and educate patients and families on post-surgical care
Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic EMR system
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to promote optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required
Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification (AHA required)
AHA ACLS certification required
Recent Epic experience required
Orthopedic and bariatric experience preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience in med surg/telemetry

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Proficiency with Epic EMR
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Experience with orthopedic and bariatric patient populations preferred
