Roles & Responsibilities

• Support and participate in cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiology and EP procedures with confidence
• Set up, operate and maintain Philips C-arm imaging equipment and Merge Vericis hemodynamic systems
• Document patient care and procedural details in Epic accurately and timely
• Prepare procedural trays, maintain sterile technique and ensure the suite is procedure-ready
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and technologists to deliver safe, efficient patient care
• Respond to on-call activations and assist with after-hours procedures when scheduled
• Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge and mentoring newer staff

Qualifications

• RN license OR RCIS/ARRT certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant cath lab/IR/EP experience (experience across at least 3 service lines preferred)
• Comfortable with Philips C-arm imaging systems, Merge Vericis and Epic EMR
• Flexible, reliable, able to take direction and work well in 3–4 person procedural teams
• Willingness to participate in on-call and weekend rotations

Knowledge & Skills

• Cath lab procedures and interventional cardiology fundamentals
• EP, IR, Neuro, Vascular and general cardiac procedural workflows
• Operation and troubleshooting of Philips C-arms
• Merge Vericis hemodynamic system experience
• Epic EMR documentation and order workflows
• Strong sterile technique, instrumentation handling and patient safety practices
• Team communication, situational awareness and adaptability in high-paced settings
