Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and vital signs
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Georgia or a compact state license
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Previous med/surg or acute care nursing experience preferred but new graduates encouraged to apply
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compassionate care environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of medical-surgical nursing principles and protocols
• Proficiency with EHR documentation and medication administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family education
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients effectively
• Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement
