Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, identifying changes and responding appropriately
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for medical-surgical patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-discharge care
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records
• Provide compassionate support and advocacy for patients during their stay

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Previous medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible, per diem shifts including weekends and holidays
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
