Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in an acute rehabilitation setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely as prescribed
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes in condition to the healthcare team
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and promote independence
• Document patient care and progress thoroughly and timely
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license in Alabama
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Previous experience in acute care, rehab, or med-surg nursing preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Wound care and patient assessment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
