Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care management
• Document patient care thoroughly and in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Alabama or a compact state
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Previous med/surg experience preferred, but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of medical-surgical nursing principles and practices
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Skill in prioritizing patient needs and managing multiple tasks
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
