Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Document patient progress accurately and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home safety strategies
• Contribute to a positive, healing environment that supports each patient's recovery journey

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Georgia
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent
• New graduates encouraged to apply - mentorship available
• Previous inpatient rehabilitation or acute care experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy assessment and treatment techniques
• Understanding of rehabilitation principles for diverse patient populations
• Skilled in developing and modifying treatment plans based on patient response
• Proficient in electronic medical records documentation
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Compassionate patient education and family support techniques
