Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes to the healthcare team
• Support patients with daily activities and assist in their rehabilitation journey
• Document patient care accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of Alabama (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous experience in acute care, rehab, or hospital setting preferred
• Strong communication and patient assessment skills
• Ability to work flexible 12.5-hour per diem shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of acute care nursing principles and best practices
• Medication administration and dosage calculation skills
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Compassionate, patient-centered communication
