Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients including assistance with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning to promote mobility and comfort
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and patient interactions
• Support the interdisciplinary team by communicating observations and participating in care planning
• Help maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification and active listing on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background checks, TB screening, and required facility onboarding
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to work effectively as part of a care team

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong fundamentals in patient care and ADLs
• Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
• Basic understanding of infection prevention and safety procedures
• Good communication skills with patients, families, and team members
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Familiarity with electronic charting is a plus
