Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support daily living activities
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
Measure and accurately document vital signs and observations
Communicate changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for residents
Help with meal assistance and feeding when needed
Contribute to care planning and teamwork during shift handovers

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state-certified CNA preferred)
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families
Ability to follow care plans, maintain accurate documentation and work as part of a team
Reliable, professional attendance and commitment to quality care

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a state-recognized CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Competence in taking and recording vital signs
Infection control and safe patient handling practices
Basic charting and documentation skills
Comfortable working in long-term care or skilled nursing environments
Teamwork, time management and strong attention to detail
