Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Communicate changes in resident condition to nursing staff clearly
Help create a warm, safe environment that promotes resident independence
Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

Current CNA certification or state-approved equivalent
Active and valid CNA license for Pennsylvania or ability to obtain one
Comfortable with hands-on resident care and lifting assistance
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Background check and any facility-required screenings completed

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Familiarity with charting and basic care documentation
Good observational skills to notice and report resident changes
Time management skills to prioritize resident needs
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
