Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing, and toileting
Monitor and accurately record vital signs, intake and output, and patient status
Communicate patient changes promptly to the nursing team and document information clearly
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
Support care plans by participating in team huddles and following assigned tasks
Offer emotional support and respectful interaction to patients and families

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or acute care is a plus
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background checks
Strong communication skills, empathy, and ability to work as part of a team

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
Basic clinical skills: vitals, positioning, safe transfers
Infection control and proper PPE use
Accurate documentation and charting
Time management, teamwork, and strong interpersonal skills
