Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive General, Vascular, and Echocardiography ultrasound studies with precision and care
• Work independently to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Maintain ARDMS certification in General, Vascular, and Echo while adhering to safety protocols
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely and accurate patient care
• Participate in on-call coverage and rotate between KVMH and SMMH as needed
• Manage a varied caseload in a rural hospital setting, adapting to changing priorities

Qualifications

• Active ARDMS registration in General, Vascular, and Echocardiography
• Current BLS/BCLS certification
• ARRT(CT) certification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in general, vascular, and echo ultrasound
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Reside within 20 minutes of the hospital when on-call
• Available to work at both KVMH and SMMH facilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in General Ultrasound, Vascular Ultrasound, and Echocardiography
• Proficient in diagnostic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology
• Excellent patient communication and comfort skills
• Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment and resolve technical issues
• Time management and organizational skills to handle a dynamic workload
