Travel Occupational Therapist - Skilled Nursing Facility
Location: Tacoma, Washington
Start Date: 08-05-2026
End Date: 11-04-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients, following physician orders and referrals with a holistic approach to improve daily living skills.
- Create and update personalized treatment and discharge plans that empower patients to regain independence.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation to ensure continuity of care and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), ensuring best practices align with state regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to deliver well-rounded, patient-centered care.
- Uphold the highest safety and regulatory standards while fostering a supportive environment.
Qualifications
- You hold a Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (MOT/OTD).
- You have or can obtain an active Washington state OT license.
- Your clinical, documentation, and communication skills are top-notch.
Education
- Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (MOT/OTD) from an accredited program.
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of occupational therapy techniques and treatment planning.
- Skilled in patient evaluation and developing discharge plans.
- Proficient in documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Strong communication and supervision abilities.
