Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate respiratory care to adults, pediatrics, and neonates across inpatient, ER, and rehab settings
Perform ABGs and EKGs to support accurate patient assessment and treatment planning
Assist with intubations and manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow systems using Hamilton and Vapotherm equipment
Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists to deliver timely, high-quality care
Float to other units only when you agree, ensuring your comfort and confidence every shift

Qualifications

Active Kansas Respiratory Therapist license
RRT or CRT credential
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
Comfortable working independently as the sole RT on shift

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills for diverse patient populations
Proficient with ABG draws, EKGs, and ventilator management
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexible and adaptable to rotating schedules and occasional floating
