Registered Nurse - Neuro Tele
Location: Chandler, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro post-surgical and stroke patients
- Monitor and interpret EKGs while delivering expert telemetry nursing
- Collaborate with charge nurses and clinical supervisors to ensure seamless patient outcomes
- Maintain strict sterile field techniques during all procedures and assessments
- Educate patients and families on recovery plans after cranial and spine surgeries
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent neuro/telemetry experience within the last 6 months
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
- COVID vaccine or approved religious/medical exemption documentation
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong neuro assessment and post-operative care skills
- Confident EKG interpretation and centralized telemetry monitoring
- Excellent sterile technique and infection prevention practices
- Effective communication with interdisciplinary teams
- Comfortable managing ratios of 1:3-4 on a 28-bed neuro unit
