End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; may require a Saturday or Sunday depending on weekend needs, with a day off during the week when working weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy care across acute care, ICU, MedSurg, oncology, and cardiology units
Provide specialized treatment for orthopedic and total joint replacement patients
Manage therapy for ventilated patients in the ICU with confidence and skill
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery
Adapt treatment plans to meet the needs of a diverse patient population

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in orthopedics, total joints, and ICU/ventilator management

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Experience across multiple hospital units including MedSurg, Telemetry, ICU, Oncology, and Cardiology
Comfort working with ventilated patients
Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
