Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule with weekend requirements based on unit needs

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to patient needs
Administer medications including limited titratable drips like Heparin and Cardizem
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and comfort
Educate patients and families about their conditions and care plans
Float as needed to support hospital-wide patient care excellence

Qualifications

Active WA or Compact RN license
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of acute care clinical experience
Comfortable reading telemetry strips and managing cardiac drips
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Medical-surgical nursing including CHF, COPD, diabetes, and post-surgical care
Infection control and isolation protocols
Patient education and family communication
Working collaboratively with CNAs and charge nurses
