Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across medical-surgical and telemetry units
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support cardiac, neuro, oncology, rehab, renal, bariatrics, ortho, trauma, and ED observation patients
Monitor and titrate Heparin drips while maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and nursing assistants to ensure seamless patient care
Adapt quickly to new units and patient populations while upholding the highest clinical standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to various specialties

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical populations
Comfortable floating between ICU holds, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele units
Proficient with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexible and reliable with scheduling needs
